The Ohio University Student Senate election results for the 2025-2026 academic year were announced on Wednesday, with current President Dan Gordillo re-elected to serve for a second year as president and his running mates, the Action ticket, winning every seat they ran for.

The Senate’s Judicial Panel reported that 608 students voted in this year’s election, compared to 1,158 votes last year. This is the lowest turnout in the eight years of data the panel included in their release

Gordillo received 460, or 96.4%, of the 477 total votes for president against Mia Grossholz, from the Change ticket, who received ten votes.

The Change ticket were not on the ballot officially—students wishing to vote for them had to write them in.

Other Action Ticket member winners included Luke Fredericks for Treasurer, Donald Theisen for SAC Delegate at Large, Katelynn Fox for Residential Senator, Charlie Bartels for College of Arts and Sciences Senator, Jayson Smith for Honors Tutorial College Senator and Aiden Wickham for University Life at Large Senator.
