Yesterday, the Ohio University Women’s Center held its Take Back the Night event to take action against sexual assault and support survivors. The night opened with speeches read by leaders from Survivor Advocacy Program, Survivor Advocacy Outreach Program, and My Sister’s Place. The annual event included a speech from keynote speaker, Jayvon Howard. Following the speakers, students, faculty, and supporters marched down Court Street in support of survivors, with the march ending outside College Green.
