Ohio sells first cannabis-infused medical marijuana products

[dropcap txtcolor="#234a83" style="dropcap1"]T[/dropcap]he first processed medical marijuana goods were sold in Ohio last week.Grow Ohio Pharmaceuticals, a licensed level one medical marijuana producer and cultivator, sent out tinctures to three dispensaries in the state: one in Wickliffe, one in Canton, and one in Coshocton. Tinctures are liquid extracts that combine cannabis and ethanol into an oil designed to be taken orally. These tinctures were sold first by the Ohio Cannabis Company at the Coshocton dispensary.Until recently, Ohioans with a license to buy medical marijuana could only buy the dried herb, but now the nearly 20,000 registered Ohio medical marijuana recipients will also be able to use the tinctures.Ohio dispensaries were originally intended to open in September 2018, but many were not operational until January 2019. Now, many products, so long that they do not contain the bud of a marijuana flower, are becoming available. Grow Ohio said it will soon introduce more medical marijuana products, such as oils for vaping, edibles for oral consumption, and topical creams in addition to the tinctures. The tinctures come in two different 30-milliliter variations:

• A two day supply with 220 milligrams of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and 20 milligrams of cannabidiol (CBD) for $80
• A four day supply with 440 milligrams of THC and 40 milligrams of CBD for $140

Any Ohioan with one of the 21 medical conditions listed here can register for a license to buy medical marijuana.[AdSense-A]The license allows Ohioans to buy buds from the marijuana plant, as well as other infused products such as tinctures. Though under Ohio law smoking marijuana is still illegal, it can be vaporized legally.
