Ohio U Campus Crime: Thankful criminals?
Ohio U's Thanksgiving Break can probably be blamed for the lack of crime on campus between Nov. 23 and Nov. 29. OUPD reported no crime on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 23.
Kush-Induced Food Coma
OUPD gave two citations for the possession of marijuana and only one citation for the possession of marijuana paraphernalia. The first citation, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, was awarded at Ryors Hall on Nov. 26—the student was also given an odor of marijuana citation.
Look Both Ways
On Nov. 26 at 7:12 pm, a student near Alden Library reported being struck by a vehicle. The student declined medical treatment and requested to file an incident report with an officer.[AdSense-A]
Thanks-stealing
There were two reports of theft this week. First, an undisclosed item was stolen at Parking Services at 8:58 pm. On Nov. 29, a wallet was reported stolen at Morton Hall.
They did not care for the Turkey
OUPD reported four incidents of property destruction. Three such incidents occurred on Nov. 28. In order of occurrence, these crimes were reported on West Union Street, the Ridges, and Parking Lot 109. Lastly, on Nov. 29, a window was broken on Park Place.
Wishbone Dispute
OUPD arrested one individual at Lincoln Hall on Nov. 27 for assault.
