Kasich: "DREAMers" can come to Ohio

Ohio Gov. John Kasich spoke out against the Trump administration's plans to phase out DACA during a national television appearance.

Former President Obama released a statement on Facebook condemning Trump’s plan, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-NY, called the plan to end DACA “heartless” and Attorneys General from 16 states filed a motion in federal court against the planned end of DACA. Locally, Ohio University President Duane Nellis said he planned to travel to Congress to advocate for students at Ohio U who are in the country legally because of DACA.
